Resilient River Banwy

In progress

This project is an annual fund from Natural Resources Wales to restore fisheries habitat within the Banwy catchment, including its tributaries the river Gam and Cledan. This aims to restore and sustain salmon and trout populations in Welsh rivers, through exclusion of stock from rivers, river cooling through tree planting, and creation of fish habitat. The Severn Rivers trust have been lucky enough to receive this funding for 4 years now and continue to build on the achievements made through the fund.
