Grant has over 40 years financial services experience including roles within the highly regulated Banking / Capital Markets, Insurance and Asset Management industries as well as the Government sector and Consulting practice. Grant has been an equity Partner in one of the ‘Big 4’ consulting practices since July 2003 and had senior leadership roles in the Oceania region for 10 years before moving permanently to the UK as an equity Partner in July 2020. Grant is now a Global Compliance and Reporting specialist focussing solely on the Insurance market and has key roles in UK Sustainable Finance and the EMEIA region’s Environmental, Social and Governance focus.
As a senior leader, Grant has worked in teams responsible for developing and or executing sustainable growth strategies, governance, hires, staff resourcing, diversity and inclusiveness, career development, branding, events, and new business ventures. Grant has worked closely with Bancassurance groups in addition to mutual bodies, foundations/charities, co-operatives, and not-for-profit organisations. This has involved extensive interaction with clients’ Finance and Tax functions, Group and Statutory Company Boards and ARCs, non-executive directors as well as Government and government departments including lobbying, statutory filings, audit/assurance programs, corporate governance and risk management, advocacy, disputes/litigation, alternative dispute resolution and working groups (most recently with HMRC and HM Treasury).
Grant has an Independent Director role in the Aquatics space and is actively involved in community based organisations in diverse roles including welfare, coaching and governance.
